Hello,

I am interested but have a few (newb) questions.
I read the manual and it mentions a transformer. As your enlarger does not seem to have one,
I guess your enlarger has a 220V light source? Are those easy to source nowadays with the EU ban
on incandescent lightbulbs?

Also, do you perhaps have lenses for it as well?

Thanks,
Etienne

Hi Etienne !

You are right , transformer is needed for COLOR head, but my Durst m805 comes with BW condenser head. There is no need for transformer with this configuration. Just plug and play with regular 220V

As i can see you are in Germany. Check this out for bulbs:

https://www.fotoimpex.de/shopen/darkroom/dr-fischer-opal-bulb-250-watt.html

There is no problem with bulbs ! I can add one working bulb for a good start

Thanks !
Jakub

Wow great thanks!
and another question: we do mostly 6x6, some 24x36, and (very recently) 4x4 since my girlfriend had a crush on a Rollei Baby. Is my understanding correct that the Glass mounts can be used with all those formats, so we do not need a 6x6 glassless carrier. (Sorry for the newbie questions, I haven't done any darkroom stuff since my university days long ago and that was before I started doing 6x6).

Will send you a pm about the rest.

Thanks,
Etienne
