For Sale FS - Darlot petzval for 4x5/5x7

This is a nice little Darlot petzval. The focal length is about 6 1/2", the image circle looks to me like around 7- 7 1/2", so this would be good for 4x5 or even 5x7 if you want to push it and maybe have a little corner darkness.

4" tall; glass is about 50mm in diameter so is around f3.3; flange is included and has about a 3" diameter, so should fit your 4x4 lens boards. The focus mechanism is present and works smoothly. The front hood has been dented a little, shown on second photo. It can probably be bent back since it is pretty thin metal on the hood, but I'm sure I'd mess it up, so left it alone. It doesn't interfere with the image as it is. The Darlot emblem is engraved on the side, and Darlot Opticien Paris is also engraved on the focus knob.
