I really don't want to ship this.
One person expressed interest in a trade last year but has not been responsive.
So here it is -- cheap. $25.
Worth most of that just for the copper in the power supply.
Come and get it.

You'll need to add your own lenses and carriers. But at this price ... I'd like it gone soon.

Yeah but if it's going in the trash, I might as well get a D5, I only have a D2, why not upgrade and get something that's better for the future.

Then I can give the D2 to someone else in the area that's looking for a 4x5, everybody wins, and it doesn't go to the trash.

Whats better about the d5 then the d2?

No idea but people often comment "the D2 is old but good" and then say the D5 is updated and fancier" or something, no idea now they differ honestly...

For $25 I would compare them in person at my house and then decide which I wanted to keep, either way I would gain something. Knowledge or a better enlarger, either way it's worth the price.

Color head is an awesome upgrade. No more filters, and you can't find a much better 4X5 enlarger than an Omega D5.

I bought the last one Collin had, or I'd be buying this one. I'm tempted to grab it for spare parts!

That is an awesome price...this was a $3000.00 enlarger....

Whats better about the d5 then the d2?

Basically, the major difference is the infinitely adjustable extended bellows that replaced the fixed lens cones...

"The D5 is the evolutionary successor to the D2. As the D2 continued its run into the 1970's, there were increasing concerns about its awkward system of lens cones required to accommodate different focal length lenses. The D5, with the extended bellows previously available only on the D6, eliminated the need for lens cones and provided a simpler lens mounting system. Other significant changes included the enclosed column, and an improved lamphouse lifting system."
