This lens, shutter and lensboard came to me in a grab bag of equipment. It is a Carl Zeiss Jena Apochromat Tessar 64cm, f/10 lens. Included is a two hose Packard shutter, and a 6x6 RC Deardorff lensboard.
The lens is in a barrel mount with a 17 blade diaphragm which gives a nice round aperture when stopped down. There is some internal dust in the lens and a slight mark on the front element. There is black photo tape wrapped around the barrel, perhaps to cover a slot in the barrel. I don’t know what the slot was for. The lens is attached to the Deardorff lensboard with a proper flange. Using the rule of thumb that coverage of this type of Tessar should be 1.2 times its focal length, this lens should have an image circle of ~768mm.
The Packard shutter is a two hose/two bulb model: one hose opens the shutter for focusing and long exposures, and the other operates a fast exposure.
I’m asking $400 for this lens and shutter including CONUS shipping. Shipping to other areas at cost. Payment via Paypal F&F. Since this is hard to price, I will look at reasonable offers.
