For Sale FS - Carl Zeiss Distagon f2.8 28mm T* Contax/Yashica MM mount lens - EX+ Condition

before I go listing this on the big auction site I thought I'd see if someone here wanted this great lens. It's in near mint condition . This is a later all black lens with a Green minimum aperture setting (f22) – I'm told this means it is a late lens that offers full program mode when used on a Contax 167MT (I used to use it on a Yashica FX-7, and also on my EOS gear with a Contax/EOS adaptor).

The lens is in excellent (at least 9/10) condition – great body, smooth focus, great aperture, and the glass is pristine – no scratches, fungus or haze that I can see. It comes complete with original Contax front cap, plus after market rear lens cap, UV filter and solid lens case. I have some photos of the lens which I'll post when I get home form work tonight, or I can email them to anyone that is interested.

I had a look at KEH and they are listing these lenses for between $349 (BGN) and $525 (EX+)....I'm happy to get $375 for this lens including World Wide Registered Postage, or $350 if you are in AUS including Registered Postage. Payment via PAYPAL, and I'll cover the PP fees...

I haven't sold anything here on APUG before, but I have over 600 positive feedbacks as a seller and buyer on ebay - look up "ustwo" and you will see that I have a very good reputation when it comes to being conservative in describing the gear that I sell..

And before I forget - I'll be donating $20 to APUG (I was going to donate 3%, but I figure this is more....)

I have this lens in my Contax kit and I wouldn't sell it. I call it my Yenta lens. She's a real busybody and digs out all the gossip and rumor, fact or fiction, in a scene and blabbers' to anyone who will look. Can't stop her.
