I'm selling this gear primarily to finance either Bessa 2/3a or a Zeiss Ikon. I have a 6 month old and I realize I need an M-mount AE camera in order to be able to shoot quicker. I can't take my time anymore. I also don't have time for camera projects as I barely have time to scan negatives.
1. Olympus FTL with Zuiko 35/2.8: Attention Zuikoholics. The FTL 42mm screw mount camera produced right before the OM-1. It's in Mint- condition. All speeds are accurate to my ear and the meter is working and accurate. The 35/2.8 is actually the rarest lens - It took the head of the Olympus Collectors group 8 years to find one. It is clean and clear, and aperture and focus move freely. $180 includes original front lens cap, new Wein cell battery, shipping, and Paypal fees.
2. Canon Canonflex RM with Canonomatic 50/1.8: The last of the Canonflex models, it was introduced in 1962. It is in Excellent /Mint- condition.
The cosmetic condition is in excellent++. There are only the faintest of marks on the chrome. I'd call it "mint-", if the term "mint" wasn't so overused and misapplied. The viewfinder is bright and the center patch is clear. The light meter is working and reasonably accurate! (It was fully accurate in the sunshine and about 1/2 stop off in heavy shade). This is highly uncommon for selenium meters of this vintage to be functioning properly. The lens is clean - free of fungus, scratches, or haze. The focus and aperture rings move freely. The camera is in good working condition except that the slow speeds tend to stick, but this is common for these models. $135 includes original leather case, shipping, and paypal fees.
Notes:
a. If interrested, I have more pictures available.
b. All reasonable offers will be considered.
c. "Shipping included" - means USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation. International shipping will be more.
