More from the House of Momus Cheap Cameras. Inexpensive gear that will still take excellent photos.

1- First up is a Canon FTb w/ a FL 135 3.5 lens. It's not a BAD camera, but the ding on the prism is, well, a big ding. If you have a little bondo and some paint, there you are. It also has, not surprisingly, a dead meter and hotshoe. However, the shutter has been adjusted and works properly on all the speeds I shot it at (1/15 to 1/1000), and all the negs on the roll came out just fine. The lens is an odd duckling, a very early FL 135 3.5. Glass is clean, focus is nice and smooth but somewhat stiff. I cleaned the gray grease out as much as possible on the helical (you would have thought it was a Soviet lens), and it should get easier w/ time. I also put a 48mm to 49mm step ring on it because those filters are a heck of a lot cheaper and more readily available. It has an old time way of imaging that I really like, and takes excellent photos. Samples shown are Arista EDU Ultra 100 in Mic-X at full strength. I have a full set of B&W 49mm filters if anyone is interested. $35 plus actual shipping costs. My estimate on this would be $10 for parcel post, $13 for priority. US sale only please.

2- Next is a Canon FT QL w/ a FD S.C. 135 2.5 lens. The camera is in very good condition and works as it should. Exposures are good, meter is working (don't have the correct battery for it, so I relied on my hand meter), and in short it looks and works a treat. A few little marks in the viewfinder, no deslilvering or any other issues. The lens is a fine one for portraits and tack sharp stopped down past f2.5. Being a later model lens it has a handy built in hood. It has smooth focus and looks good cosmetically. There are numerous little cleaning marks on the front element, and on the rear element there was a little fungus that I cleaned off easily. There are a few light residual marks from the fungus (which again, was very minor) that have no effect on anything. These lenses are capable of almost Leica like 3-D sharpness. It has a 58mm to 55mm step ring on it because that's the filters that I have. The B&W filters are not included, but are available if someone wants to buy them. They're inexpensive, of course. It comes w/ a Canon FT manual too, and a rubber eyecup. Samples are the usual Arista EDU Ultra 100 in Mic-X. $65 plus $13 for priority shipping. US sale only please.
