I listed this earlier here in a listing of a large number of items but that wasn't really a good way to list it.
I have it ebay as well, but I would be happy to sell via APUG and eliminate the Ebay 10% from the equation.
Its got a lot of light scratches on the front element from cleaning I presume but it did not affect any of my images.
I raised the contrast in the 8th image to amplify it so yo could see them.

So how about $120 paypal shipped USA? offers accepted. ( EU - how about this, I am going to be in Denmark this sumer and can ship from their if that would be smarter/cheaper)

Canon Rangefinder 50mm thread mount ( Leica Thread Mount ) f1.8 lens.
This looks like the chrome screw mount Serenar lenses from the time period but this version does not have the word Serenar on it.

Included in Auction:

• 50mm f1.8 screw mount lens
• Leather case
• WALZ 34mm UV filter in perfect shape.
• A poorly fitted plastic rear cap that is just for shipping protection. It is a soft, flexible plastic but it is cracked on the edge.

Lens condition:

• Front element has the typical cleaning scratches that these lenses have.
• Rear lens looks great with no scratches that I can see.
• No fungus, No haze.
• Chrome is in great shape with a few scratches and some minor wear marks. Not mint, but very nice. If you go using a magnifying glass and studying it, you will find imperfections.
• Focus is smooth.
• Aperture blade is smooth.
• Infinity lock works great.
• Aperture blades are in good shape but may have a little oil on them. This is not a camera operated so it has no effect on function.

I have tested this lens and found no flare or aberrations that would have been caused by the front element scratches. I took photos of the lens that make the lens look as bad as possible and enhanced them with more contrast so no surprises for the buyer.
Leather case is worn, but fully functional.
UV filter looks good with no major problems

Rear Cap is junk, I am just including it for shipping.

I also have a matching Canon lens hood and Auto Up adapter for this lens available as well, but that adds money.
I would be interested in trading for Nikon primes and am happy with imperfect gear. I am especially looking for an 85mm f2, 35mm f2. Anything with AI to autofocus before G lenses.

I am going to take offers on APUG till July 7th and ship on the 8th assuming payment is fast. If it doesn't sell by the 8th this will be on hold till later in the month.

Of course if someone Buys It Now on ebay or it gets bid up pretty high, I will close this thread. It didn't sell on ebay one round so far, but others in similar/worse condition have gone for more.

The pictures are quick and poorly made, but the parts are in great shape.

Comes with a divided leather case in excellent shape, just a few scratches
