Buy my old digicrap, so I can finish paying for some new digicrap. No pictures of the old digicrap until the new digicrap arrives, but I'm sure you know what digicrap looks like, and everything is in excellent condition with original boxes, instructions, software, and accessories. All firmware has been kept up to date. I'd recommend updating to the latest versions of the software from Canon's website.
Canon 40D, 10.1 MPix DSLR, 7006 shutter actuations, no CF card, two batteries--one original, one aftermarket, charger, cables. I purchased this used from Henry's, and it's spent most of its life on a copy stand. I use it mainly in place of a scanner, and occasionally for some photographs destined for the web.--$600
[SOLD: Canon EF-S focusing screen for 40D or 50D--better than the original focusing screen for manual focus, in original box with tool for changing screens.--$25]
Canon WFT-E3A Wireless File Transfer grip for 40D or 50D for wireless tethered shooting, and wireless file transfer via EOS utility, FTP, or any web browser. The web interface isn't that sophisticated, but you could do things like use your iPod Touch or iPhone as a remote trigger or download images to the iPhone and e-mail them or upload to flickr. With the right combination of apps, you could probably do some basic editing as well, though iPhone apps tend to be limited to use for files of the size produced by the iPhone camera. Also includes Ethernet connection and USB port to dump a flash card directly to a powered hard disk or to a USB flash drive, or simultaneously back up images as you shoot, or save in one format on the CF card, another format on USB drive, etc. You can connect a GPS device to the USB (check Canon's web site to see if your model is compatible) port to record GPS data in EXIF.--$575
Prices for individual items above or $1075 for the 40D+WFT-E3A [package price revised after sale of EF-S]. Shipping will depend on how much digicrap you can take.
