I'm selling my 8x10 Cambo SC monorail. Everything works great on the camera. It's honestly the cleanest 8x10 set up that I have come across. It's a very sturdy camera with all the movements you could ask for. It's one of the things I love about this camera...plus if you ever need any accessories or parts there are a ton of Cambo/Calumet parts for cheap.

Pros:
- A real simple 8x10 camera to use and learn on
- Interchangeable parts with other SC cameras of any format (knobs, lens boards, standards, rails, bases etc)
- Cambo SC lens boards are easy to find and very cheap
- Can handle pretty much any 8x10 lens without running out of bellows
- Bellows do not sag (actually look pretty new)
- Wide angle lenses like a 210mm work just fine (The widest I've used is a 210mm but you might be able to get away with wider...can't be sure though since I dont have any other wide angles to test)
- Monorail offers plenty of movements on each standard along with zero position detents
- All knobs and movements work as they should
- 8x10 bailer level for back works perfectly and spring lock holds film holders in tight
- Rail clamp is threaded for 3/8th but will include a 1/4th to 3/8th reducing bushing

Cons:
- Bellows racked out to max there are a few slight pinholes if you put a flashlight directly behind bellows (honestly not really a con because it's never affected any of my images just thought I'd mention it. It would be an easy fix for the buyer but I honestly see no need)
- Only has one bubble level and it's on the rear standard

Price - $500 + shipping

Note to buyer - This camera set up will be packaged very carefully for shipping. I'll double box everything so it's safe during shipping (even the groundglass will be in a separate padded box) Cost of shipping material and use of paypal can get expensive so once the camera is sold I cannot offer any refunds aka it's being sold as is.

Wow, a good camera for a good price, that.
I paid about the same for my SCX 8x10, which I think is a rung below this SC (this one certainly looks newer and better than mine).
I can also vouch for using 210mm (just: normal bellows kind of limits the shifting, it'd be better with a bag) and I've had up to a 600mm Apo-Tessar on it at infinity no problem (It just doesn't reach long enough for my 28"/711mm Anastigmat though).

Definitely a good gateway drug into 8x10...

I am interested in your 8x10 camera. Where are you located?

edit/ If anyone in the OC/LA area is interested in the camera it'll save a lot of money on shipping!
