It kills me to be posting this. I posted this back here and on the LF forum, without any takers I (reluctantly) posted it on eB#y and it sold. Ive shot film through it, and before shipping it I ran an unshootable roll through it and marked the frame lines to make sure it was spacing properly.
Fast forward.... after the winner gets it, I get a note indicating the back it broken. 'Its almost like an internal gear broke' which seemed oddly specific but thanks to eB#ys policy of always taking the buyers word for it, the buyer was fully refunded and I'm stuck with a broken 6x12 back.
I started to try to take it apart to see if it was fixable and after messing up the little metal logo plate in the middle of the advance arm I gave up in frustration.
Maybe it can be fixed but I doubt parts are still available, I entertained the thought of carving it out and making it into a 'Red Window Advance' back but honestly I'm kinda done with it.
