Up for sale, a B&L Protar VII in Alphax shutter. Lenses are 11 3/16 and 13 3/4 for a combined 7 1/8.
Proper scales are attached. Shutter timings (see photo) shown are not my determination - the board came with the lens this way - but, I'd say 1 second is probably close and the others are progressive sounding.
The glass is very clean. Just the very slightest hint of separation. The front has something going on - not fungus, not separation, its not a coated lens, so natural blooming perhaps? Otherwise, there's a spot or two on each lens but thats it.
Per B&L catalogs on cameraeccentric, the 7 1/8 does not cover 8x10, and from my test, it's close - at f32, if the lens had been better centered, it might have just made it (see attached photo). The individual elements cover with no problem per the catalog (attached photo is from the 13 3/4)
Ugly flange included.
Asking $350 + shipping. Paypal preferred.
