FS: ARCA-Swiss Compatible Quick Release Plates for Large Format Cameras
OK, technically these will also work with medium format, 35mm and digital cameras, but I have found them perfect for large format cameras. I have a couple different types available. Both styles have the ability to support two mounting screws. So, if your large format camera has two tripod mounting sockets (Canham, Wisner, Chamonix, Shen-Hao, etc.) you can add a 1/4" - 3/8" bushing and a second mounting screw for a very secure connection that will prevent the camera from twisting on the plate.

The two styles I have are the Photo Clam PC-69-UP2 (these are new, in the original box) and a Really Right Stuff B35 (this one is used and shows wear). I have used both of these with several different large format cameras over the years. The Photo Clam plate is smaller and lighter and the perfect match for a lightweight 4x5 field camera, or even an ultralight 5x7. The RRS B35 is longer, wider and heavier. So, it's a better match for heavier cameras, like an 8x10 or larger.

Here's some photos of each:

These normally come with a single 1/4 - 20 mounting screw. With a single screw, the price is $20 each plus shipping. If you'd like a stainless 1/4-3/8 bushing and a second mounting screw, the price is $25 + shipping for the plate, plus the additional hardware. The Photo Clam plate originally sold for $37 and the RRS is $55. So, this is a good way to get some nice ARCA style mounting plates for your large format cameras without breaking the bank.

I have a half dozen of the Photo Clam plate, but only one of the RRS B35. I also have a limited supply of the 1/4-3/8 stainless steel bushings and extra mounting screws.

Thanks,
Kerry

The RRS B35 and three of the Photo Clam PC-69-UP2 plates have sold. I still have three of the Photo Clam PC-69-UP2 plates left.

Thanks,
Kerry
