I've acquired various front standards and modified an F-line function carrier to bring you this 8x10 camera.
As with all Arca cameras, the modularity allows for quite a bit of experimentation with camera set-up, and I made this one to suit my needs.
I've also managed to retain all aspects of the original 8x10, so if you don't like my mods, you don't have to use them.
This camera is in excellent condition, with some very minor signs of use.
Knobs lock down tight with only finger pressure. Everything glides smoothly and it all works very nicely. Probably the smoothest camera I've owned.
Original ground glass and bellows (extend to ~600mm), with a GG protector that slips over the screen.
Bail back is pretty sweet and handy to have. Bellows is in great shape, no issues.
The camera comes with a modified F-line function carrier that allows the rear standard to be bolted directly to it.
This makes the entire assembly sit about 1.5 inches lower resulting in more front rise. The poor man's Misura. It works very well and I keep the camera in this orientation.
With the F-line carrier in place, you get rear rise and axial tilt.
If you don't want to use the F-line carrier, remove the screws and attach the standard to the original carrier.
Full movements in front, with both axial and base tilt.
One of the 40cm monorails has been cut at the 11cm mark, so you have a short rail on which to store the camera, and another rail about 29cm long for extensions.
There's also a complete and intact 40cm monorail. Included is a 40cm bracket.
If you get longer bellows (~$180), this camera can give you 800mm of extension. More if you use the two longest rails in the bracket.
I added a small metal stop at the end of the longer rail piece to prevent someone (me) from focusing a lens right off the rail. It works well, and is also removable.
Camera weighs 11.7 lbs (5.3kg), only 1.5 lbs (700g) more than a new 8x10 F-line. Measures 14.5" x 14.5" x 5.5"
Ask me any questions. It's a great camera, works well, and I'm including several lens boards of varying hole sizes.
Asking $2200 for everything. Photos: https://www.flickr.com/gp/zsari/6gK203
