For Sale is a Agfa Ansco 5 x 7 for a restoration project. Specifically this is the Agfa Ansco Universal View with built in rear extension rail. The camera is intact, all movements work and lock down. The camera is made of solid stained cherrywood with a French Polish shellac finish and with bronze-gilt painted brass hardware. The bellows will need replacing, the shellac finish could be restored or completely stripped and redone. The same with the brass hardware. There are several good articles on restoring wood field cameras, one specifically on re-finishing this exact Agfa Ansco model. Comes with a 5 x 7 back, one lens board, two vintage film holders and a box of vintage 5 x 7 Agfa sheet film.
