Time to get rid of darkroom stuff I’m not using. Here’s a Alden 70mm bulk film loader. I bought this back in the mid-90’s when I was shooting a lot of Kodak 70mm CIR film. It’s seen little use since then. Instructions included. Excellent shape.

$100.00, USD.

Shipping USPS. In U.S. $20.00

Outside of U.S. TBD

I need one of these, would modify it to slit down to 120.

I also need to pay my heating bill so...GAS or gas I'll have to stick with gas.

Good luck!

get slitter by xkaes at aol dot com. any size. have two versions. one blade cutting on one side leaving perforations alone on the other side. two blades cutting into both perforations. the latter not recommended when letting it developped outside your home. could damage machines.
I have an idea on how to slit vertically. film hanging. should be easily possible. or combining slitter with the Alden. Will discuss with my repairman.
There is a workaround(ask vermeercameras) to alter Mamiya RB76/70 back for 120 film(any lenght up to what 70mm cartridges may hold(6.5 mand longer if very thin film is used), Only donor-side is for 120. mercury works can make 70-120-spools(60 usd). and we will(one day) deliver shim to adjust 70mm spools, first kodak, later version matching thicker Linhof core. latter has slit and no clumsy to use clamp.-
i have some data and images how must be made this system to work with 120-spools.
BTW: i removed the "sensor" checking lenght to avoid scratches. the hole must be taped then. lenghts can be found out(how many rotations, i can tell you).
Attention: Doint drop the 70mm Alden.no parts nowhere. Was lucky Queens City Plastics replacing one part at no extra costs. normally only through dealer.
