Last of the day... Here are three 6" petzvals. The glass is good in all of them, they don't weigh much and are small enough to easily fit on most boards for a 4x5 camera.
Please PM or EMAIL me, preferably with the email option from the forum. PayPal and USPS money orders are both fine. $$ to APUG is sold here.
#1 is an Aldis 6" projection petzval, approx f3.6. 3 1/4" tall, diameter approx 2". This is a pretty fast petzval, so might be some fun. Originally it would have had an outer barrel and it would have had a twist-focus to it. The outer barrel is gone, as you can see, so you'd need to cover the slit with black tape or something. $110 including US shipping.
#2 is a no-name engraved "6 IN 1/2 EQUI". This one is very light, about 3" tall and 1 1/2" diameter. It has an internal restrictor ring so is probably about f7 or so as is. If you got that ring out, closer to f5. It probably won't swirl on 4x5 as is but will still have the nice petzval tones and falloff form the center. $95 including US shipping.
#3 is a Darlot gem type petzval. About 3 1/2" tall, 2" in diameter. The barrel is engraved "8 B F & Co" but the edge of the glass lens is signed Darlot. Benjamin French was Darlot's exclusive US importer, I believe. These also have a small internal restrictor ring which makes it about f5 as is. If you can rid of the ring, around f4.something. I got two of these exactly the same and have seen photos taken with the other Darlot, and it gave an excellent image. If you are craving a Darlot petzval, these are probably the cheapest way to get one. $145 including US shipping and insurance.
