For Sale FS: 5x12 Camera - Complete Kit

So, I'm ready to part with this kit. I put it together, but never really got comfortable with ULF film developing, so it has sat unloved. It's time to get it to a new home (plus I could use the funds for other projects as well).

The camera is in good working condition, no issues with the bellows that I can see. Everything is fairly sturdy considering - this is no Ebony, but it's no 100 year old pile of twigs either. The lens looks clean, and the aperture works fine.

You've got everything here needed to get started. The kit includes:

Vageshwari Camera, converted to 5x12
2 5x12 film holders (they are homemade, and work great)
Original 8x15 (I think) back

7 boxes of slightly expired 5x12 film - 4 boxes of HP5+, 3 boxes of FP4+ (one box is missing a few sheets). All the film has been stored frozen since new. That's $700 worth of film included.

5x12 is a great format - love the proportions and the size. And it's easy enough to find lenses that cover without them weighing as much as (if not more than) the camera.

Very true. Basically any 8x10 lens will cover 5x12.
