I'd like to sell my a 4-¼" (108mm) f/12.5 Wollensak Velostigmat Extreme Wide-Angle in a Rapax shutter. It's specified to cover 5x7 but I've never tried doing so, in fact I've never used it. It comes with the mounting flange, original metal Wollensak front cap, and some rangefinder bits (scales, screws, and a cam?) in a film can marked "For 108 Wolly on Crown Graphic". That's how the parts were represented to me when I bought the lens, but I can't vouch for them as I don't own a Crown, or any other Graphic.

The glass is in very nice condition considering its age, with no obvious marks and just a bit of dust. The shutter works on all speeds and sounds similar to a recently-CLA'd Copal I compared it with. There's one long obvious scratch, not too deep, on the shutter face, visible in the photos, but otherwise it's in pretty good shape considering its age.

Asking $200, which includes PayPal fees and insured shipping within the US. I will not ship internationally without tracking and insurance so the total cost will be higher and we'd need to sort that out.

Sorry about the severe color cast in the picture of the rangefinder bits.

The later, coated version of the Extreme W. A. pictured above is a 4/4 design for which Wollensak did not claim extra covering power stopped down. It was the earlier, uncoated 2/4 design that the 1922 catalog referred to as covering one size larger when stopped down. The 1948 catalog page referenced below (and applicable to this lens) claims 88-degree angle of view and 5x7” coverage.

Looks like a very clean example of a great lens: good luck with the sale!
