This might be a little odd to sell here, but in case anyone is interested. I am open to selling or trading for my 35mm Motion Picture Camera: The ARRI BL2. It is in fantastic condition with a 400' and a 1000' magazines. It comes with a matte-box as well as the lens blimp.

Not that expensive, but still, I would think about 5 grand or so... which is not pocket change by any measure.

I would love to have a cine camera, but a trip to New York, right now, is impossible. It’s a shame, since I love the city and could use the opportunity to go to B&H and buy some film.

Ah, if only I could afford it!

A BL2 isn’t going to bring big bucks. Kind of sad really, it is an entirely capable machine ready to shoot its next feature or commercial. GLWTS, I have some 35mm gear I have to unload but it’s hard to get motivated given the market for this excellent machinery.

Sounds like an amazing opportunity for someone with the capability and motivation to shoot a film. I used the Arriflex 16 in my youth for television news work, and I can attest to what a technical marvel that machine was. If the seller posts some photos there might be greater interest.

It's definitely a great system but I already own a BL4 as well as an SR3 HS for Super 16mm work, which is the majority of what I shoot these days. It was the film photography that lead me down this path actually!
Anyways, as opposed to letting it collect dust, I thought I would let someone else give it the use it deserves.

I would definitely be open to trades. I was hoping to find a GF670 for a reasonable price, and am also in need of a GS645 folder. These are more for my long hikes!

I'm definitely not looking for $25k, and would let it go for even less than $5k. I just need a little extra scratch in my pocket. I would happy getting it to someone who will make good use of it.
