For Sale FS- 305mm f9 Red Dot Artar in shutter

For sale is a 12"/305mm Goerz APO-Artar in a Copal #3 shutter. The lens and shutter are both in extremely clean condition without marks or scrapes. The shutter speeds are good with the exception of 1/125 which is a bit slow. (see below) This could pick up with time as I made a point of NOT "exercising" the shutter before testing. "What you see is what you get" right out of the package.

This dialyte configuration lens is excellent from infinity down to 1:1 and is apochromatically corrected for color.

I haven't actually been able to date this lens but going from the serial number it must be a very late model. If anyone can chime in on that I'd appreciate it!

I'm including a Canham lensboard as the retaining ring is mounted to it. If you have a Canham, great! If you don't then it's a simple matter to remove the ring.
