This is one of my own lenses, not part of the large batch of equipment I'm selling for a friend.
You have few choices if you're looking for a 250mm with huge coverage for your 8x10 (or 7x11 or 5x12) - an f/6.3 Kodak Wide-Field Ektar in its enormous Ilex 5 shutter, an almost-unobtainium 240mm Computar f/9 in a Copal 1, or this f/6.7 Fujinon-W also in a Copal 1. Unlike the later f/6.3 Fujinons, this single-coated "inside lettering" version offers a 398mm image circle at f/22, covering 8x10 with plenty to spare. The Fujinon is certainly bigger and heavier than the Computar, but is nearly a full pound lighter than the WFEktar.
This one appears clean and clear, with only a few very faint cleaning marks (I can't see any, but you may, so let's set the bar below perfection). The shutter functions and all speeds except 1-second sound appropriate - the 1-second setting sounds like the 1/2-second setting. The metal bits show minor nicks and scrapes of age but no dents or dings. It includes an original front lens cap, a metal Sigma rear cap that doesn't stay on very well but is perfect for shipping, and the retaining ring.
