This is a relisting, as I have significantly lowered the price on the camera, and didn't like the way the original ad was worded.

1937-1938 Rolleicord type Ia, 520. It needs a focus screen and mirror. A couple of used focus screens, including the original Rolleicord cross hair type screen and a very serviceable mirror (which is a breeze to install) will be included. The focus is smooth, shutter is firing strong, and the 3 element, uncoated Triotar lens (great for portraits wide open, sharp stopped down) is clean and clear. The film counter appears to be working as it should. Other than the body covering that needs to be reglued down in places and a small piece that is missing on a knob, the camera is in excellent condition for its age! It also has a sports finder hood, making quick shots much easier.

My digicam went on the fritz halfway during the sample pics, so I cribbed pics 5 & 6 from the original ad the camera was purchased from. Finally, the last 3 shots are from a similar Rolleicord I once owned, and there is no reason to believe that this camera would not give similar results (Tri-X, Y. Fltr, D76).

US sale, and ships by insured priority mail. $80 plus $13 for the shipping. Guaranteed to be as described or your money back.

Yes, as the ad states, I will include TWO focus screens, and one mirror. They are used, but serviceable. From what I see, that is all the camera would need to load film in it and shoot it. The mirror is very easy to replace, and I have the little spring-type clip that holds it in. No adjustments are needed, if its installed correctly. The focus screens are fiddely to replace in these models, but I have the necessary clips that hold a focus screen in (they came w/ the camera when I originally bought it). Again, no adjustments are needed if installed correctly.

As for the cosmetics, it just needs some glue to hold down the body covering in places, and a black magic marker would fix up the missing covering on the little chrome knob on the side nicely. This camera is not perfect in appearance, but it looks really good for a camera this old. It's also quite small and light (sorta) for a TLR.

Too many tire kickers and low ballers here, so it is moving to the auction site and is no longer for sale here.
