The original "inside lettering" Fujinon-W family was single-coated with an 80° field of view at f/22. This works out mathematically to a 252mm image circle for this 150mm lens, but some late-1970s Fuji literature I have lists it as "only" 245mm. Whatever, it's enough to make this lens genuinely useful on 5x7, and it provides coverage you probably won't run out of on 4x5. At 213 grams in its Seiko 0 shutter it's a lot smaller and lighter than the only other modern f/5.6 lenses in this focal length that offered such a wide field of view, the Super Symmar HM (740 grams, Copal 1) and the Apo Sironar W (408 grams, Copal 1).
This particular lens is in decent used shape, but has some minor issues. There are some fine cleaning marks on the front surface, including an odd circular coating mark, along with just a few very tiny marks on the rear surface. While these are photographically unimportant, some people are very particular about this kind of stuff - if you're one of those people, please don't buy this lens. The Seiko shutter's slowest speeds are 20-30% slow according to my Calumet tester, within tolerance but near the edge (30% amounts to 1/3 of a stop). Comes with the retaining ring, Fujinon front cap, and loose-fitting (but better than nothing) Olympus rear cap.
