Frustrated Aussie can't find Rodinal anywhere

The picture looks like it is packed in cardboard packs like fruit juice drinks.

Rodinal USED to come in the form of a 100Ml bottle in a cardboard box. Perhaps this is the packaging in this case. This is the "Special" version not the plain stuff.

Isn't that "Rodinal Special" aka Studinol and not classic Rodinal?

Yes, that is Rodinal Special, which is identical to Studional.

I don't replace it, acetaminophen = paracetamol.

I use potassium hydroxide and potassium sulphite, or a mix of potassium sulphite and sodium sulphite.

Instead of sodium hydroxide and sodium sulphite.

Given the density of acetaminophen (paracetamol) after dissolving crushed tablets in methylated spirits or ethanol, and filtering out the crap, you can weigh a 10mL graduate or other 100mL etc, whatever you feel like and work out the specific gravity difference, which will tell you how many grams per mL you have dissolved.

You can add water and remove some of the alcohol by evaporation etc too.

Unfortunately, their online store is no guide to current availability. That item was listed there on the day about 6-7 weeks ago that I asked in their Carlton store and they said "come back in two months". It was listed there a couple of weeks ago when Lachie from Vanbar told us on another thread here that the next shipment due in about 4 weeks is all pre-sold and we would have to wait until the following shipment before there is any likelihood of shelf stock.

Meanwhile I am following "vanbarimaging" on Twitter where Lachie assured us that he would announce when stocks have arrived.
