I have just had a look at the UK site and placed an item in the basket, then the checkout. No mention of minimum orders and the postage rates are good for the UK and acceptable to the USA.
About two years ago I bought about seven CDs from New Orleans and the postage was about a third the cost of the discs, phenomenally high I thought at the time.
Your high prices may be due to getting glass made to order.

May be cheaper in the future to order direct from the UK but then you may have the problems of customs duties.
