First I'm not new to this site. I long ago forgot my old user name.
I have a couple of friends that are members and good people. Winger who lives at the bottom of the mountain and I had the pleasure to met. Of course the other is Jim Jones who's knowledge has been very help full to my personal growth. I think we all go back my 15 years or more.
I shoot film and digital. However I am a hopeless film addict. I have had my own darkroom for a very long time. While I have continously processed my own B&W I just started doing my own E6 about six months ago. My enlarges have been out of action for 15 years. That has changed as they have all been set up again. Having kids meant no room for the darkroom. I could still process and if i am permitted to say printing was done by scanning etc.
Prior to today my focus was 35mm. I am sort of a collector of cameras. Well at least that is what my wife tells me. Without going into detail I have close to the full line up of Nikon Film bodies, some Canon and a few Pentax. Oh yes I started using my Yashica around Thanksgiving. It was that darn 6x6 negative that moved me into Medium Format with Mamiya RB 67 PRO SD.
I don't have one particular subject that I photograph more than the other. Any excuse to take a photo is good enough for me. I have been known to experiment with black and white. Let's just say I love to push the heck out it. For example I love pushing any black and white for high school basketball games. I had many old discussions with Jim on this subject, funny he always wins.
I been lucky enough to travel through out the US and Canada. In addition to most of Europe and Northern Africa.
I'm not the best photographer maybe far from it. But I love it all the same. My favorite part is In the darkroom where miracles are performed.
