Hello!
Frenetically I have read so many threads here and learning so much. This is a great course for me.
In daily life I am cook and work on vessels or in a luxury restaurant.
For many years already I fooled around in my Dark-room, always B&W.
One day I was very impressed by a photo of Gursky- I think he is German- of the harbour+surroundings of Salerno on which everything fits together, a sort of monumental peaceful composition.
For me it is you feel immediately when you are making a good photo, but I should like to be able to wrest and can't find any good subject, most landscapes with some human activity to see.
I like the classic films like Plus-X, FP4 or Tri-X very much, but can miss the Agfa barytine paper and hope the guys who work on a new Agfa-like paper will succeed as I have read here...Maybe one day I will afford me a 4x5 camera but 35mm and MF fulfill my needs quite. Concentration at the moment is the development of the negatives.
So the coming time I will read.. and read.. and ..should like to pay for this side but I have no creditcard.
With greetings from Maarten
