Which means "rural" in Alaska terms. I enjoy following the goings-on here but am usually more of a watcher unless someone actually asks me a question... It was a relief to find APUG a while back. I work in a variety of formats but usually use an RB67.

Welcome from the other side of the herring pond. Looking forward to seeing your photos.

Welcome from the rural side of the world. Also looking forward to seeing your photos.

And I thought Tonopah Nevada was rural. To everyone else; go take a look at Troy's website.

It Rocks. Beautiful work! Especially the portraits which made me think I need to pick up the tlr and do some pics of my grand nieces and nephews.

Welcome aboard. One of these days I need to introduce myself. Jim

I agree with Jim, wonderful work. Love how the dog portrait is included with the humans, I'm a big sucker for dog photos

Welcome from Sydney Australia. I'd love to visit Alaska one day; just seems to be one of those "have to do it once" things.

I look forward to seeing a little more of it through your lens

Glenn

Welcome from San Jose, CA (just a bush-flight west of Tonopah), too, Troy.

Welcome from the "almost" 49th state, but officially the 50th. Looking forward to seeing your images posted in the gallery.

Thanks

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome. And speaking of warm, yesterday it was a bit chilly out, but today our snow is barely hanging on...joys of living at the junction of 4 major weather centers...never know what a day brings except that (based on our experience) it will be between -40 and +84F.

One of the things I like about Hawaii is that our temperature varies only by about 10 degrees year round.
