Fresnel lens for 4x5 camera.
The Fresnel places the ground glass in the proper location for focus and BRIGHTENS the screen significantly. The bright screens on Graphic, Linhof, Sinar, Wista, Toyo and other ground glass viewing cameras uses the same type of material. It may fit these cameras but I do not know what size they require. See actual size below.
Original GRAFLEX part. Like many Graflex optical items they were actually made by Eastman Kodak Apparatus Division. From old stock that I have had for years.
It is uniform, neutral, and clear.
I photographed it in such a way to make it look as bad as possible. The lens is lifted off the light box surface by the thickness of a sharpener pencil and then under-exposed to reveal any marks. The camera is focused on the Fresnel Lens. You will receive this exact lens.
The photo shows small marks on the plastic. The marks do not interfere with use but the marks are the reason for the low price. . The box is NOT included. I need it for the one I am keeping for myself.
Size: 3 15/16 x 4 13/16 inches, thickness .075 inch. Fresnel focal length about 6 inches. I have a few left. When they are gone they are gone.
