I couldn't sell these on ebay for £15 with free postage!

They've all got stickers on them, all are boxed, all work. Some are A-P, some S-AV200, one Ektapro.

Please save these from the skip, just pay postage:

When my projector broke, and after I scanned all my slides, I threw out not only my old Carousel slide trays but a number of brand new trays (100 slides). What a shame.

I hope somebody grabs this. I would if didn't go with straight tray Twin Rollei and Leica.

I see them all the time at my local dump, in the reuse & recycle small building.
Maybe I should collect some (got my own) and then offer them to forum members for cost of shipping (from Northeast U.S.)?

I imagine tens of millions must have been manufactured.

Happy to send out one or two if anyone doesn't need ten.

I will look later, to see which Kodak i have............does anybody know, were these rather "Generic" or were they pretty projector specific.?
thank you

This reminds me of a time I found a large set of trays at the reuse&recycle, with slides in them.

This was near a major teaching hospital... need I say more?
I saved a few, but the bulk of it was too much to bear.

As I recall there were 80 slide and 140 slide versions of Kodak and Ektagraphic carousel trays. I am not sure if all are interchangeable in the various Carousel projectors.

The 140 trays are quite rare in the UK, where they for cardboard mounts only?
Well, there is less room in each slot for the slide in the 140 trays. I never used glass mounts, only cardboard. So I can't answer your question directly. But you might be right that glass mounts would be too thick.

All Kodak Carousel and Ektagraphic (and Ektapro?) rotary trays are interchangeable, although the 140 trays don't work well with thicker slide mounts.
There are third party manufactured rotary trays as well that are designed for Carousel and Ektagraphic projectors, but I have no direct experience with them.
There is at least one other rotary tray standard (Sawyer/Universal???) that won't work on the Kodak projectors. IIRC that type of tray held 100 slides.

I couldn't remember whether there were Ektapro badged trays as well - I've never owned an Ektapro badged projector.

Are any of these compatible with Kodak carousel 600 series? I have to check at home which one exactly is mine
