GoldE, 2-1/4 X 3-1/4 with 2-1/4 X 21/4 adaptor. It's in a carrying case with the manual slide carrier, 2-1/4 square adaptor, and 6 1/2" f4 lens. I'd guess the projector was made in the '50s, but it could be older

The thing was given to me several years ago, but I'm never going to shoot MF chromes; I'm a B&W guy. It appears to be in very clean excellent condition. However, I have never plugged it in. I'm sure the thing is worth every penny I'm asking for it [free IS a very good price!]; perhaps a lot more to anyone who can use it. In any case, my wife wants it out and it looks much too good to go to a landfill.

Pick-up only, in Brooklyn, NY (Prospect Lefferts Gardens, near Prospect Park). The projector is fairly heave, and even in it's fitted carrying case, I doubt that it would survive shipping.

Oh, that's "Pm", NOT "I'M"

I'm not sure I know how to get those. If you don't get an answer please email me at the address in my listing

Bob, look at your "Conversations". That's what the Private Message (PM) system is called these days.

Thank you fdonadio; I found "Conversations" after I clicked on "Inbox" on the upper right of the screen.

The projector has been claimed, by the first person to respond, a young guy from Queens, who participates on this site, shoots medium format film, and plans to use it. That makes me VERY happy!

Thank you BobMarvin! I really appreciate it and can't wait to put it to use!

You can tell the young fellow from Queens that the very useful projector that he is obtaining is is a modification of the Golde spotlight and can be used as a spot when not being used as a projector. Maybe some of the Golde Spot's accessories cab be used with the projector. He should look for replacement projector bulbs. I imagine new bulbs have become harder to obtain and more expensive. I am almost certain that the projector has a cooling fan which the spot light does not have........He should use it in good health.......Regards!

Now I envy Sceptic for two reasons:

1. He owns a medium format projector;

2. He lives in New York.

:D

Cheers,

Sceptic,

You're very welcome. I'd have been happy if anyone took the projector, but I'm especially glad that it was someone young, rather than an old fart like me  The only other person who expressed interest was someone on our neighborhood Facebook page who'd have just put it on display. That's better than a landfill, but you intend to USE it, which is FAR better. Lets hope that medium format color reversal film, perhaps the most endangered type, stays in production.

Flavio,

To have a medium format projector AND live in the center of the universe is indeed something to be envied!

I really miss NYC. Been there only once, for just a week, but I guess my heart will be there for ever.

Cheers,
Flavio

It will indeed get its use!

Thank you for the info oldtimermetoo! I will have to look into this projector some more it appears! It appears 6x7 slide mounts are less common now. I see plenty 6x6 and 6x4.5.

Flavio, there is definitely so much to see, enjoy and photograph in NYC. However, being here since birth I also yearn to leave and see the rest of the states and the world as well! Those are the times that make me most excited to shoot now! I guess it is all perspective!

And you indeed should do it! Traveling abroad is a great experience. Different places, cultures, sights... It's really all of that, and then some!

And, on the bright side: when you get back home, you get to be in NYC! :D

Cheers,
Flavio
