I have a couple of Gitzo low-profile 3-way tripod heads - a G1370 and a G1370M (later version of the G1370) - that are sort-of-functional but with *very* stiff movements. C.R.I.S., the authorized repair agent, won't take these any more - they say no parts.
I've replaced these with a different head that I actually like better, so I'm not inclined to invest any more effort in them. I'm not comfortable asking money for them, as even G1370(M) heads in good working order aren't worth much these days. On the other hand, I hate to throw them out. So if anyone who likes tinkering is inclined to take a stab at fixing them up, either for your own use or for resale, I'd be happy to send them along, gratis. Continental US only, please, so I can keep the postage cost within reason.
TAKEN!
