Nice. Filter?
Nice. I only wish that it was in color.
Back in history someone, who I can’t recall his name at the moment, did a portfolio/book on red-heads that featured a lot of freckles too. It was nice work... like yours.
One would think a blue or green filter would enhance the freckles and orange would tone them down.I did use a #47 blue filter. I forgot to add that information.
Redheads https://www.amazon.com/dp/0847814513/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_DJYhAbG0M70QKSounds like I need to find this person and view their portfolio.

Yes, I immediately thought of the work of Joel Meyerowitz.
Thank youAnd two other books came up as recommendations on Amazon as well:

And if the subject interests you, the above three books in total can be had for peanuts! (That's how I've built up the vast majority of my photographic book collection)

This exactly what happened. One would think a blue or green filter would enhance the freckles and orange would tone them down.
Right. I didn't follow that comment either. This exactly what happened.
I think in color it looked more dramatic. Nice picture though.
Your b&w image is striking but I wouldn't mind seeing her in color as well. Softly glowing as with Portra or super-saturated as Ektar or a happy medium in between.
There are so many ways to shoot both b&w and color, no? How about a color Kodalith?
