Hi Friends,

What would you do if you have a shutter from a agfa isolette, lenses from a Rolleicord and a RB67 Back?

Weekend Project 🤣

Very nice work! Please post test photos when you have them..that’s a sweet lens. One more thing though—you should find a badge from a Hasselblad and mount it on the front, just to lure curious onlookers.

Does that 75 mm lens cover the 6x7 frame well?

Great Idea! 😀

I made something similar for a 47mm lens. If you can find one, Angulon or Ilex Acugon, it can be a fun large pocket camera.

Is the helical bought, or printed yourself? Assuming that there is a helical, of course.

Would love to see more about how to designed the graflock back system to attach the RB67 back!
You designed it yourself in CAD?

Great build, none the less!

I just measured the rb67 back a draw it in freecad, the metal parts are from a graflex i think.

That is an interesting way to use spare parts and keep oneself busy.

Good job! 6x7 can always be cropped, but at closer distances the lens should cover the frame well.

Great project and now to see more of the Frankenstein camera's photographs.
Hi Friend,

This is just a quick test, focusing with mark @infinity on helicoid, f11, quick scan with nikkor 60/2.8 @f4, setup completely not leveled perfectly, fu**ing blown away from the resolution of this lens on triX400.
i am into film photography for a decade and more, never saw this sharpness banned on film by myself!

Hi Friends,

The Frankenstein camera seems to be a complete success. I was in Aarau today and took a few test shots. All photos were taken with an F11 @ hyperfocal. Razor sharp . There's a nice little photo shop at the train station called Foto Schatzmann. They developed and scanned the film for me within an hour, just like in the good old days.

My new everyday Camera.

Frankenstein Camera vs. Fuji X-T2 SOOC equivalent Lens.

This is not what I want Fuji, everybody buys your Cameras for a fortune and my 100 $ DIY is better, explain please!

I don't recall that in the good old days, we would get complementary racing stripes across every single frame...I hope you didn't pay for the scans.

oh did not see that, its only a test normally I use another lab.
