I'm wondering what follows the fictionized self-portrait...reducing or obliterating the clarity between the self and fiction?

Saganich... I think my photographic self-portraits, which I consider as tests, are not meant to maintain a clear boundary between myself and fiction. I tend to see everything as fiction, everything as performance. I don’t really believe in the reliability of a fixed personality. I use my face as visual material, but it is always a constructed version, much like what we usually call reality. Even a question and an answer, to me, exist within this same framework, as positions, sometimes as small narratives. What feels more interesting, and perhaps more true, is that unstable space where identity takes shape. I’m not trying to document who I am, but to explore how many versions can emerge from the same face. The distinction between what I am and what I stage is too complex, even for myself, and I’m not sure I can fully explain it. Thank you for your post. I will visit the site.
