The eyepiece off my Soviet FED 2 camera gradually worked its way unscrewed and came off while I was carrying it outside today. I searched for an hour but didn't find it and don't have regular access to the places I went. The camera is useless without the ocular lens.

However, it is my only m39 camera and I have two of the cult classic Soviet lenses coming in the mail. I'd like to avoid having to buy another camera to use these lenses.

If anyone has a broken FED 2 I would pay ten dollars plus shipping for the eyepiece, or we could negotiate a price for the whole camera, for parts.

Just bumping this as I never found one. I ordered a broken parts body cheaply and it was ALSO missing the eyepiece.

Someone recommended Oleg Khalyavin in Russia and when I emailed him the response was prompt, friendly, and he offered to combine shipping if I needed anything else, so I also got a rewind knob for my Zorki. I'm just bumping this thread to recommend him to anyone looking for FSU parts.

I recommended him to you. He's completely overhauled 2 or 3 cameras for me. Recently I sent him an early Kiev and he did a CLA that is more nearly a restoration. He found some screws that someone had replaced with non original, he cleaned and adjusted the rangefinder, and he rebuilt the shutter curtains even though they were working. It looks and feels like a new camera. It may be better than when it left the factory. I believe he specializes in repairing Soviet cameras and Leica copies. His prices are fair, and he's a "straight shooter".

Very accommodating, very reasonable about prices. He even sent a picture of the items to confirm.
