I am looking at one of the Fotoman viewfinders for 75mm on a 6x12 (the one with the circular bubble level on the top and metal masks that slide in from the side, through the nodal(?) point. Three questions:

- How is the viewfinder picture?

- I know this is lens dependent, but is the view with lenses from 58-90mm generally acceptably large to see what you are framing with 6x9 and 6x12?

- Has anyone made a custom metal blade mask for one?

Thanks!

Here's the lowdown:

- Big plasticky body
- Bubble level on top - no longer viewable in the VF due to the central metal masks
- 6x17 takes with a 75mm lens covers the entire width of the finder.
- Clear through the middle 2/3, a little distorted on the left and right edges
- Masks are secure, but the edges are not as distinct as mask-in-the-front or reflected framelines.
