I was wondering if you could mount a lens on a Fotoman helicoid to use on a Silvestri Bicam lensboard? I know this is quite a specific question but hopefully someone has an answer...I'm not keen on spending 500 euros sending a lens back to italy to wait a month to have them put it on a helicoid.

Probably. The only issue is that infinity may be in a different place, so you may need a spacer, and calibrating this is quite a precise task. A good photographic machinist should be able to do it I would think.

thanks for the reply. I'm aware that the infinity point on the Fotoman helicoid can be adjusted...I'll see how that works out
