just about to buy a mamiya back holder when seller (Jim are you there?) suggested this type of film for it:

Two months ago I found out Ilford is only B&W, so you get an idea of the size of my brain, anyway, is this an ok film, for 9.99 seems cheap to me.

Search for Adox or EFKE 25. 50 & 100, there's a lot of posts on APUG. They have been around since the early 50's and are good films but need care as the emulsion is very much softer than other films when wet.

Keep in mind that every film out there has both fans and detractors. Personally, I happen to like the Efke 25 in 35mm, but the ISO 50 and 100 products are a bit too grainy for me. (If I want big grain I shoot a faster film.) In medium and large format, though, the grain isn't as much of an issue. The Efke films are old-style emulsions, so they can give images a subtly old-fashioned look -- older than, say, Kodak Plus-X and much older than T-Max. If you like this sort of thing then go for it; but if you're a T-Max lover, you might not care for it. If in doubt, give it a try and judge for yourself.

Efke 50 is an excellent film, especially in larger formats. I have made 24x30cm prints from 6x6 negs with no grain visible. I will be ordering a 9x12 box soon.
