I've had very positive experience with Photoimpex. I buy once every 2-3 years lots of film and paper. One time they sent me a 110x1000cm Adox paper roll that was a not so fresh production but still good. I explained to Mirko that I was going to use it along some years and he replaced it some months later with one freshly cut to my needs (last one roll they sold). Also recently with the FP4 and HP5 backing paper issue they asked if I preferred the film replacing or the money refund (it was a 50 rolls purchase). Never had a communication problem.

And yes, I can confirm the dusty paperrubbish packaging material that gave me many hours dusting all over my darkroom. They should write on any box:"DO NOT OPEN IN DARKROOM".

Good one, thanks

I have ordered from both FotoImpex and MacoDirect without any hassle over the last couple of years.
No issues.

Thank you all very much for the honest feedback. Our colleagues from Fotoimpex have been informed.

Fotoimpex has always been my primary source for film and paper. It's a pity ADOX Lupex is no longer available..

We are very hard working on the reintroduction of ADOX LUPEX.
With some luck we maybe could bring it back even earlier than expected.

Thanks for the suggestion.
The Fotoimpex customers have the choice: They can choose either the environmentally more friendly option with the recycled paper (which can be indeed a bit dusty), or they can choose the dust-free foam-flakes. It is up to the customers what they prefer. But they have the choice with every order.

I've purchased from Fotoimpex in all of the countries I've lived in in the last decade and been super happy with them under all circumstances. I first ordered from them when I lived in Munich in 2011, then in the UK, then the US west coast, now in Ireland. Reliable, good prices, good and fast shipping. One of the standouts.

I am customer of them for 10 years, although especially a lot the last two years. Last week recieved a package. A brick of HP5+ and FP4+ in 120 before the price goes up.

They have a great assortment for a fair price and shipping is cheap and fast enough (within a week to the Netherlands)

Had no idea my thread would provide such a consistent feedback and a jump-in from Team Adox adds to the positives Am glad to have found a reliable source not too far from where I live. While so far I'm able to get everything at least at as good a prices and naturally a lot lower postage costs. I will definitely use them, if only to support their business.

Just had an order completed with Fotoimpex for a couple of Adox CHS 100 II 4x5. Indeed great, smooth, fast, well updated order progression, Now I'm just waiting to see what it will take to add a few items to a second order already paid for, but would allow saving on new shipping charges. Surely it is a job that requires personal attention, so we'll see comes Monday.

BTW, to those who mentioned dusty packaging, there is a choice of filler and DustFree FloPack is default value, need to engage to get the dust delivered, so I think this good too.

One thing I have noticed is inability to save items in cart after login. It's a bit disappointing for those like to hunt around a site, put stuff in cart for later order.

I have tried lots of different distributors over the last years. Most of them were good, 1-2 not so good, but Fotoimpex has become my preferred option. Because they offer the most well-balanced performance of all:
- huge supply with more than 5,000 different products
- very reasonable prices, often even the lowest prices
- very good service
- fast
- international shipping
- if you have technical questions, you get competent answers (for example macodirect never replies)
- they support photrio and our community
- Team Adox is doing an excellent job here giving us the needed information
- they have a real physical store in Berlin, I enjoy shopping there, it is a candy-store for film lovers :D.

But the most important factor for me ist that Fotoimpex is unique:
There is not much money to earn in the analog business as the profit margins are tiny, but Fotoimpex invests their small earnings all in the build-up of Adox and its products. No other film distributor worldwide is building up an own real film, paper and chemistry production with even two factories (Germany and Switzerland).

Just wanted to correct myself, even if that was nothing obvious at first, but with feedback from Fotoimpex I got it going.

After login, and only after that, a product page will show "remember" option under cart placing button. That will allow to throw that item into "clipboard".
Clipboard can be organized with subfolders you make on a fly as you "move" items from general clipboard into "sub-boards" .
Clipboard is listed in "My Account" where you can go in and proceed to order whichever ones while retaining such items until deleted.

So this is good function. Nothing new compared to many on-line retailers, just wanted to share in case somebody is as slow as I am
