Hi All!
Sorry if this was posted already - I did a search but could not find anything.
I got myself a nice stash of CHM 400 to play with 400 ISO film. I want to develop it in D76 1+1. Fotoimpex says in there website that
"CHM 400 can be exposed and developed identically as APX 400 NEW, RPX 400 and (surprise!) Kentmere 400."
So I looked up dev times and it is 14:00 min @ 20 degrees for D76 1+1.
BUT the box the film comes in has a list of recommended dev times, and for D76 1+1 is it 21:00 (!) mins @ 20 degrees, for EI 320 (no indication for EI 400 is provided in D76). 50% more!
I'm confused: who is telling the truth? I did a couple rolls @ EI 320 and D76 as recommended by the box and the results where nice but somewhat low contrast. I would like to have someone's experience before I waste a couple rolls developing them 14 minutes.
Thanks!
