All- just a quick teaser - much more information will be forthcoming in the upcoming weeks as I work to secure presenters for the 2026 Foto Inter/Cambio conference in Mexico City. What I can say for certain is that we will be putting on the conference from October 28-30, 2026 in Mexico City. We will have TWO venues - our workshop and artist talk facility will be in a gallery and workshop space at Tabasco and Tonala in Roma Norte, a very short walk from the Insurgentes Metro station and the bus line on Insurgentes Avenue. Our opening and closing events and the exhibition of work by our presenters will be held at the Patricia Conde gallery in San Miguel Chapultepec neighborhood, a three block walk from the Juanacatlan Metro stop. For those who don't know, Patricia Conde is the most prestigious photography gallery in Mexico, perhaps in Latin America. With these venues, we will be offering an expanded range of artist talks and workshops this year. We will have presentations on handmade photo techinques, artist talks involving artists working with large format and/or historic techniques, and we will have an artists dialog about using AI and ethics in photographic art.

To see information about the previous conference, and to watch for information about the next edition, please visit Foto Inter/Cambio .

I can confirm several of the presenting artists:

Paige Billin-Frye - known for doing hand-colored and toned alternative processes, she will be conducting a workshop on toning cyanotypes with botanical extracts

Ferando Cordero - Mexican architectural/fine art photographer will be presenting an artists talk about his 50 year career

Santy Mito - young Mexican photographer experimenting with pinhole and cyanotype, he will be presenting an artists talk about his use of pinhole and the human figure.

Rogelio Septimo, Lourdes Puig, Jorge Diaz, Jeremy Moore - a four-way conversation about the ethical use of AI as a photographic art form

I'm working on some additional workshop ideas (we will have a Day of the Dead themed photo walk, a human figure in the studio photo shoot, some other hands-on workshops, and more artists talks to be added when details are confirmed.
