Formulary Fixer 24 for film?

I have a lot of Formularly's non-hardening Fixer 24 for paper, but would like to use it for film. Can anyone suggest a hardening additive? I will be using it with Fomapan 100 sheet film.

You don't need a hardener for films, I haven't used a hardening fixer in well over 30 years and I do use Fomapan 100 as well as EFKE Pl25

Just use it as it is, I assume it's the same as Kodak F24.

I'm not familiar with that product, but use Formulary's TF-4. It has long shelf life, has greater capacity, fast fix times, and washes out rapidly.

F-24 is a very simple non-hardening fixer. It is probably not acid enough to harden properly if you just add alum, but you could certainly add a hardener like Kodak F-1a, F-5a, F-6a, or F-53. You could also add something like Kodak Hardener that comes with their rapid fix, or a similar hardener.
