Normally, I follow the two fixing bath procedure for processing FB prints. Somehow today, I forgot the 2nd fix and went ahead and completed my normal archival process (hypo clear, rinse, dilute selenium toner, rinse, hypo clear, one hour wash). The first fixing bath was fresh paper strength rapid fixer two minutes with continuous agitation using Ilford MGIV FB paper. How archival are these prints vs the normal two fixing bath method? Can I fix these selenium toned prints in a second fresh fix, hypo clear, and redo the final wash? If so, is it worth the effort and water?
