Right? The water sack hanging from his hip looks like something out of a movie. I honestly cannot imagine what this man's life was like.

lol, nobody in Tonopah would look twice at this guy. The old joke about the shoes is; every time he saved up enough to buy the stuff he's s'posed to have to look like a real cowboy, he'd buy another ranch instead. Common for a foto finisher to make a bunch of these little contact prints after developing the film for the customer. Kodak Brownie 'stopped down' because of full sunlight makes a pretty sharp image with it's little meniscus doublet. The 'water bag' is just the open back of his chaps.
