Looks like a new out of the box old stock maybe never used, still has the Japan Passed test sticker, Super DM in black. Bidding will be stiff at Shopgoodwill.com

I'd never heard of these, so I found the very helpful review below. Sounds like a Nikkormat (both are described as being heavy enough and sturdy enough to drive nails into wood) w/o the mat's wacky shutter speed adjustment, and the fact that the DM has a removable prism.

But, they had their own wacky idea w/ the shutter button. Every camera I've used w/ a front mounted button has felt less stable when I fire the shutter than a camera w/ a top mounted shutter button.

You're right though, the Super DM above is going to be bid sky high by collectors.

It was competitor to the Nikon F, came out in 1966, interchangeable viewfinders, screen, had motor drive, what DM stood for. Has a winder as well, and a bulk film back. Meter is built in, when using waist level finder still have meter access. The mount is Exkta which is why the shutter release is in the front rather than on top. Swiss Alpa, early Miranda and Petri also had front shutter release. The RE version was at the same price class the Nikkormate. The DM was the U.S Navy's 35mm until Topcon left the camera business in late 70s.

Just a body. The Topcor lenses are real gems. None of my 15 or so Topcors will fit, otherwise I’d take a bid.

Topcon made really fine lens, one of the reasons the Navy Picked Topcon over Nikon. I have an Auto 100, the 3 lens I have are very sharp for the day, the 60s. What body do your lens fit? I thought all of the Ds and RE use the same mount, the Uni and IC are leaf shutter and will not work on the RE and Ds.
