As above I am selling my EMO Elektronik Darkroom Specific IR Goggles. They are identical to the type 5151 seen in this link: http://www.emo-elektronik.de/
I bought them used and as such are they are not in pristine condition, but they are fully working although one tube does take slightly longer to warm up than the other.
They take one small rechargeable battery which is not easily sourced, but I found and bought a few and a Worldwide charger for them and they and the charger will be included in the sale.
The best thing about these glasses is that they truly work at IR frequencies right up to 950nm (which is beyond the range of human sight and film including IR film).
When used with 950nm LED lights the image is slightly less bright than with 850nm or lower IR lights, but they are still very useable and I preferred the fact that they were unlikely to cause any issues regardless of intensity or exposure time of the lighting on the film.
As part of the sale, should the buyer request it I will include a set of 4 each of 850nm and 950nm led clusters that run off 9-12v dc. One in each corner of a darkroom should provide good illumination (obviously this will depend on the size of darkroom). This will impact shipping costs though due to volume and weight but would give a starting set which would then only require a 9-12v DC supply to power.
These are particularly suitable for persons wishing to carry out inspection tray development or clumsy people who have issues loading sheet film into holders.
For all the items listed above I would like £250 net to me.
Payment can be by UK bank transfer, Paypal Gift (preferred and only acceptable for overseas sale) or cash on collection. Shipping by an insured shipper will be in addition to the price above. Payment will only be accepted in UK currency by any of the means specified above.
