I had been applied for a US Patent for Rewritable lens in 3D Chromagenic Plastic or Glass . It was all about creating a polymer or glass mass and puting one side a transmission hologram. Transmission hologram acts like a thousands of lenses together and focuses radiation on desired points as a 3D Lens image. Polymer or glass changes its refraction index with radiation and creates a lens. After few hours , everything gone and mass is ready for another expose.
No grinding , infinite amount of lenses possible.
When during pm traffic with Chris Holmsquist , We discovered , it could be used as a display also. If wecan create a dynamic hologram and use of fluorescent polymer , it could be used as dynamic display.
