Minolta SRT 101 black 58 mm 1.4 all in original case with manual, looks like it just came out of the box. Nice heavy metal camera, sweet glass, it's mine.

Thrift store purchase, I really needed a good suit, did nt need the camera, it is mine, I really like it.

I thought I got a good deal when I picked up a Canon F1 with 50 1.4 for $100 in similar condition. I was ripped off!

I bought one of my nephews an F1, 50 f/4 & motor drive for ~200.00. At some point it becomes theft, but I'll rot in hell for far worse than paying 15.00 bucks for an SRT.

I just snagged a Nikon-mount Tokina 50-200mm F3.5 lens, in beautiful condition, for $5.50. I don't know whether to be thrilled or despondent on how little such good MF equipment will fetch these days.
Best, Richard

Good on ya Dave. Now get me a 503CW for under $300.00.

Hey, Dave! Congrats on being a proud owner of a Minolta SRT 101!! I, too, own one of those great "tanks"! I so love my "Minnie"!

Identical to my very first 35mm camera and lens, except mine was chrome. I paid $47.50 or thereabouts at an estate auction about 10-15 years ago or so. Lovely camera. Absolutely wonderful lens -- try portraits close-up wide open.

What a sweet camera!

Mike

Although I have three of them, I am green with envy.

You done REAL good, feller!

Shit, must be early alzheimers, as I think about it it must have been a SR-7, I hope my date is close to correct. . . . .
